abstract The invention relates to an arrangement for the roof fastening of plate-shaped photovoltaic solar modules (16), each of which at least partially covers one or more roof covering elements (18) of an inclined building roof (12) designed as roof tiles or roof tiles. In order to enable simple assembly without a substantial change in the basic shape of the roof covering elements, it is proposed that each solar module (16) be held above the roof covering elements (18) by a plurality of spaced-apart supporting elements (14), and that the supporting elements (14) in each case have a roof-side connecting part (26) which can be snapped onto a rabbet edge (24) of a roof covering element (18) and a module-side connecting part (28) which can be connected via a snap-in connection to a side edge (22) of a solar module (16).
