R<1>, R<2>, R<3> = 1-18 C alkyl or alkenyl, optionally containing -O-, -S- or -C equivalent to C- and optionally substituted by CN or F; rings A and B = trans 1,4-cyclohexylene containing -O- and/or -S-, 1,4-phenylene, optionally substituted by N, CN or F, 1,4-cyclohexenylene, 1,4-bicyclo-(2,2,2)-octylene, piperidine-1,4-diyl, napthalene-2,6-diyl, decahydronapthalene-2,6-diyl or 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronapthalene-2,6-diyl; o = 1 or 2; p = 0 or 1; L = H or F.
