abstract |
The invention relates to a method for producing mostly open-cell rigid polyurethane and/or polyisocyanurate foams by reacting A) a polyol constituent having on average at least two groups which are reactive in relation to isocyanates, whereby said constituent contains 1) at least 2 polyethers and/or polyesters having groups which are reactive in relation to isocyanates, 2) water, 3) possibly catalysts and 4) possibly other aids and additives, with B) a polyisocyanate having an NCO content of between 20 and 48 weight percent. Said method is characterized in that C) an inorganic solid which is finely dispersed in a liquid phase and has a specific surface of between 10 m<2>/g and 500 m<2>/g is added to the reaction mixture at a quantity ranging from 0.01 to 9 weight percent, in relation to the sum of constituents B). The invention further relates to the use of the rigid foams manufactured according to said method as an intermediate layer in composite elements, as foaming material for hollow spaces in refrigeration units and as a filler substrate for the production of vacuum insulation panels. |
