abstract Electrophotographic photoconductor has an electroconductive substrate with a light sensitive coating containing titanyloxy phthalocyanine (I) as photoconducting material and an alkyl polyol (II), i.e. diol or higher polyol with a hydroxyl (OH) group on each third carbon (C) atom of the main chain, to give 0.1-100 mole OH groups per mole (I). Also claimed is production of the photoconductor by coating the substrate with a liquid containing the specified amounts of (I) and (II).
