abstract The invention relates to a method and a device for endoscopically performing fluorescence diagnosis of tissues. According to the inventive method, tissue is exposed to an energising light used to provide energy for fluorescence by means of an endoscope. Said light can provide energy for at least two fluorescence modes in the tissue due to its spectral distribution without requiring a change of filters in the path of the energising light. According to the invention, the fluorescent light of the different fluorescence modes can be selectively observed.
