titleOfInvention Process for generating images and system therefor
abstract The method uses image data provided by an endoscope output in the form of video image signals. Several individual images of different regions of the inner wall of the body under examination are recorded. The video image signals of the individual images are digitised. Based on the digitised video signals, a total image is generated in an image processor by superimposing and/or combining some of the individual images. A system for carrying out the method has an endoscope and a device for outputting the video signals. The system also has a device (4) for digitising the video signals and a signal processor (5).
