titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of 4-dialkylamino-3-fluoroanilines and 2-dialkylamino-5-fluoroanilines |
abstract | Preparation of dialkyl-amino-fluoro-aniline derivatives of formula (I) comprises: (i) reacting an amino-chloro-fluoro-nitrobenzene derivative of formula (II) with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst and optionally a solvent at 20-160 deg C and 1-150 mbar; and (ii) reacting the obtained amino-chloro-fluoro-aniline derivative of formula (III) with hydrogen, in presence of a base and a noble metal catalyst and optionally a solvent, at 50-200 deg C and 1-100 bars, with elimination of hydrogen chloride. one of A,B = NR1R2 and the other = Cl; one of A', B' = NR1R2 and the other = H; R1, R2 = 1-10C alkyl; or NR1R2 = 3-7-membered ring. |
