abstract | Aqueous dispersions containing a polyaddition product of a carboxylated alkylidene polyphenol A, which may optionally also contain methylol groups, and epoxy resins B, which on average contain at least two 1,2-epoxy groups per molecule, the reaction products formed by epoxy resin B and the alkylidene polyphenol A being number-average molar Mass M¶n¶ from 600 to 10000 g / mol, and wherein the polyaddition product AB is at least partially neutralized by adding nitrogen bases and then dispersed in water. The dispersions can be used in coating agents, especially for food packaging containers. |
