titleOfInvention | Strand-shaped sealing tape for insertion in joints of a concrete masonry |
abstract | The invention relates to a cord-shaped sealing band (8) for inserting into separating joints of concrete masonry in order to seal the separating joints against water or other liquids. The inventive sealing band is especially comprised of gelatin and glycerol components. Glycol or a formaldehyde can also be used in lieu of glycerol. The swelling capacity can be adjusted by selecting an additional portion of PVA. The sealing band (8) can additionally have a longitudinal canal (9) which is in contact with an outer side (11) through a longitudinal slot (10) such that a sealing liquid can be injected via a pressure hose (12), through the longitudinal canal (9) and into the respective separating joint. |
