titleOfInvention | Device for dusting hard layers of material |
abstract | According to the invention, a heating device is positioned centrally on a replaceable base plate. Supports bearing the parts to be coated are arranged around said heating device, moving in a planetary-type formation. The supports are surrounded by coaxial screens with openings in them, said openings corresponding to the outlet areas of the layer material which has been transformed to a dust by the atomising elements. Said screens can move radially in relation to each other so that different process steps such as heating, etching and coating can take place when they are in different relative positions. The inventive device is suitable for applying layers of hard material to tools by dusting at temperatures from 500 DEG C to 800 DEG C. |
