| abstract |
The invention relates to a tool for working workpieces consisting of wood or a similar material, generally comprising a base body (2) with cutting elements mounted thereon. Until now, these cutting elements have been produced separately. They consist of a blade support and the actual blade, said blade consisting of a wear-resistant material. The cutting elements are connected to the base body (2) individually or arranged in groups on intermediate pieces which are then aligned on and connected to the base body (2). According to the invention, the cutting elements are configured on the base body itself and are provided with a layer of a hard material alloy in the form of a powder applied to the cutting surfaces (4) of the base body (2), in order to simplify production and also reduce the costs. Said layer (5) can consist of several coatings. |
