titleOfInvention Combustion process for low-power dust burners
abstract The combustion process can be applied to fuel which behaves like a fluid for supply purposes, such as fine coal dust of droplets of heating oil. To reduce the content of nitrogen oxides, the combustion process involves mixing the fuel with the exhaust gas in three stages. In each mixing stage, the combustion conditions are selected so that the stoichiometric combustion temperature is not reached, thus the combustion temperature stays relatively low. The effect is further enhanced by the mixing the cool gas in the flame jet of the combustion process during the mixing stages.
