abstract The pump comprises a tank (24) with a liquid inlet (22) and a non-return valve (32), as well as having a liquid outlet (26) with a non-return valve (34). The valves (32,34) only allow a flow in the pump direction. The pump further has a pressure inlet valve (62) for the gas inlet opening (38), a pressure outlet valve (64) for the gas outlet opening (44), and a mechanism (46) which alternately closes the inlet valve and opens the outlet valve. An additional pressure outlet valve (66) is connected to the tank, and has a valve body (68) which is prestressed towards the tank interior. The additional outlet valve opens if the pressure in the tank is less than the pressure displacing the liquid at the liquid outlet. The additional outlet valve is mounted on the tank wall and has a spring for pretensioning the valve body.
