abstract Use of polymers for inhibiting denaturing of immobilised proteins is new. The polymers comprise, on their surface, structural units comprising 1-3 F atoms on a first carbon atom. The first carbon atom is bonded to a second carbon atom which is substituted by a hydroxy group. The structural units also comprise a trifluoromethyl group in cases where the first carbon atom is substituted by 3 F atoms.
