titleOfInvention Device for removing a liquid from a closed container
abstract Certain measures are required for withdrawing without problems and as completely as possible a liquid from a closed container (1) with a changeable position within a portable device. A closed container (1) is provided with an open-pore, porous storage medium (5) designed in a single piece which preferably only fills part of the container and is located at least in the area of the end of the withdrawal pipe (4), at least temporarily in contact with the liquid. The storage medium serves as a temporary liquid storage and bubble barrier. It constantly keeps a certain amount of liquid in the proximity of the end of the withdrawal pipe, even when said end lies above the liquid level in the container. The container provided with the storage medium can be used as an active substance deposit for a liquid medicament in a portable atomiser used to generate an aerosol to be inhaled.
