abstract the unit has a housing, at least one bus connector, an interface connector for a multiple interface for several electrical devices to be controlled or which exert control, esp. switching devices, and an electronic assembly between the bus connector and interface connector for managing the data exchange between the bus and the electrical devices. - Different, interchangeable processing modules (102,103) can be inserted in the housing by making electrical connections to the bus connector(s) (114) and interface connector (122,172) and contain electronic assemblies (121,171) compatible with the current bus system. There is at least one further bus connection compatible with the current bus system.
