| abstract |
The equipment housing (1) includes an inner solid casing (2) in which the components of an apparatus are arranged. The inner casing includes a layer of foam material and a non-porous, elastic, chemically resistant outer casing (5) is provided which encloses the foam material. The foam layer or pads (4) enclosing the inner casing are of the same thickness all round the inner casing. Certain points are made thicker in order to stabilise the floating position. |
