abstract The method is operated in a machine which executes a dispensing cycle in which at least two products are dispensed into a number of containers (2). The method involves a step in which the dose of one of each product (20) is formed in a chamber. The method also includes at least a step in which one of the products (20) is transferred from the chamber into one of the containers (2). During normal operation of the machine (1) a step is carried out in which one of the products (20) is extracted from the chamber (11) and is transferred by means of a product extraction device (8) into a storage station (31). At the end of the dispensing cycle the products (20) in the containers (2) are weighed at a weighing station (19).
