abstract Colour photographic material comprises blue, green and red sensitive silver halide (AgX) emulsion layers containing yellow, magenta and cyan couplers respectively, and light insensitive layers between layers of different colour sensitivity. At least one green sensitive AgX emulsion layer contains a pyrazolotriazole magenta coupler (I) and at least one of the layers contains a diacylaminophenol of formula (II) as developer oxidation product (DOP) scavenger. In (II), X1, X2 = a single bond, oxygen (-O-) or imino (-NR7-); R1 = H or a group released during colour development; R2 = H or -CO-X1-R4; R3 = H or -CO-X2-R5; R4, R5 = H, alk(en)yl, aryl or heterocyclyl; R6 = alkyl, aryl(oxy), acyl(oxy), alkoxy, halogen, hydrocarbon (-OH), carboxyl (-CO2M), sulpho (-SO3M), cyano (-CN) or nitro (-NO2); R7 = H, alkyl, aryl or acyl; M = H or a cation; n = 0-3; and at least one of R2 and R3 = H.
