At the pipe or hose connection, the fitting (2) has a support (4) with an axial passage opening (3) to be plugged onto the end of the pipe etc. and held in place by a barbed or catch-fitted outer clamp ring (6) and/or at least a similarly equipped inner clamp ring (8), possibly integral to the support. The two rings offer an insertion gap for the pipe etc and are tensioned by means of a box nut etc (9). A separator collar (15) between pipe endface and the confronting face of the fittings etc should be made of material eliminating any galvanic coupling between pipe endface and the fitting stop face. |
