The invention concerns a method which enables macromolecules (nucleic acids, proteins, viruses and bacteria) to be isolated from biological materials, such as blood, serum, fluid, urine, plants, cells, supernatant liquor from cells, etc. and preparations thereof, concentrated and rendered accessible to analysis. The macromolecules are first electrokinetically concentrated in a flat duct on a membrane. The concentrated macromolecules can be transferred electrokinetically via a transfer duct into an analytical micro-duct for further processing. |
