titleOfInvention Method for assigning radio channels to mobile stations in a radio transmission system
abstract The method employs priority values which include characteristic values of the transfer function or carrier/interference ratio for transmission over the various channels between the base station and the mobile. The search identifies the m (e. g. two) greatest values (Wi) in the priority matrix, and for each of these all priority values in the same row and column are added. The smallest sum is selected and the channel bearing the associated column number is assigned to the mobile station bearing the row number. That row and column are deleted and the process is repeated until a channel is assigned to every mobile.
