Compounds have the general formula (I) R<1>-CO-NR<2>(-A)n-B-N((-D)m-R<3>)2, in which R<1> is a linear or branched aliphatic C5-23-radical with 0 to 4 C-C double bonds and at least one hydroxyl group; R<2> is H or (-A)n-B-N((-D)m-R<3>)2; R<3> is H or a C1-4-alkyl radical; A and D independently represent CH2-CHR<4>-O, in which R<4> is H, CH3, C2H5; B is C1-12-alkylene; n equals 0 to 6 and m equals 1 to 10. These compounds are used as surface-active substances, non-ionic surfactants or emulsifiers. |
