abstract |
The method involves using a seed oscillator (OPO1) having an optical parametric amplifier medium (K1) in a resonator which is formed between a high reflectivity mirror (HR1) and a partially reflecting mirror (PR1). The oscillator is coupled to a pumping source (P) that is also coupled to the crystal (K2) of an optical parametric oscillator (OPO2). The output (10) of the first oscillator passes through a beam splitter (BS) to a Littman grating (G). The emission (16) with limited bandwidth is coupled to the second oscillator. |
