Compounds having the general formula (I) H2C=CR<1>-C(O)-Y-R<2>, in which R<1> stands for H, CH3, C2H5, C3H7; Y stands for O, NH, O-phenylene; R<2> stands for a radical composed of 2 to 10,000 polymerised isobutene units or 2-1000 polymerised butadiene or isoprene units, are used for producing particulate emulsion polymers with a glass transition temperature below 0 DEG C and a mean particle size from 50 to 1000 nm. |
