abstract | The system provides a required count difference between the count values held in 2 different counters indexed via respective clock signals, at a data transmission station and data reception station respectively. The clock signal generator (50) for the second counter is controlled to provide a clock signal with the same frequency as the clock signal for the first counter, with temporary adjustment of the clock frequency for the second counter when the difference between the count values differs from the required difference. |
