abstract Azlactone-derivatised polyamides (A) are claimed which are obtained by reacting polyamide with an aza-bicyclo compound and a vinyl azlactone of formula (I). R1-R3 = H or Me; R4, R5 = H or 1-5C alkyl. Also claimed are: (1) immobilised enzymes obtained by reacting (A) with an enzyme, and (2) separation materials obtained by reacting (A) with an effector of amine separation.
