titleOfInvention Laser arrangement for generating narrow-band, tunable coherent radiation
abstract The laser arrangement includes an optical nonlinear crystal (16) which is arranged in an optical resonator (12,14) to form an optical parametric oscillator (10). A tuneable seed oscillator (20) emits seed radiation (34) whose wavelength can be narrow-bandedly changed by a wavelength selective element (30). A device (32) couples the seed radiation into the optical parametric oscillator. In one embodiment the seed oscillator is a narrow-band dye laser.
