titleOfInvention One-way one-way clutch pulley
abstract The pulley is mounted on the input shaft (14) of a device and driven to rotate by an input element (12). A pulley hub (16) has a first section with a central bore for the shaft, whereby the rotation of the hub causes the shaft to rotate, a cylindrical expansion section, roller and bearing. A coil spring (22) can cause a positive drive of the roller (18) wrt. the hub with a large normal force preventing them from rotating wrt. each other and ensuring torque transfer from the input element to the input shaft. The spring can also cause a delay between roller and hub with a smaller normal force enabling the hub to turn faster than the roller.
