The production of polyurethane (PU) foam is by reacting (A) a polyol component with at least 3 hydrogen atoms on average, containing (a1) reaction products of (a1a) organic carboxylic acids with (a1b) polyols containing tert. amino group(s), (a2) optionally other compounds with at least 2 NCO- reactive H atoms, (a3) optionally a blowing agent, (a4) water, (a5) catalysts and (a6) optionally additives etc., with (B) a polyisocyanate with an NCO content of 20-48 wt%. Also claimed is (i) polyol component (A) as above, and (ii) PU foam, especially closed-cell rigid PU foam, obtained by this process. |
