titleOfInvention Medicines that have a lowering effect on blood cholesterol
abstract Blood cholesterol reduction with chlorophenoxy isobutyrate amine salt mixtures. Medicinal compositions, administered as tablets, suppositories or injection ampulla, for lowering blood cholesterol, as a prevention and cure in all functional disorders caused by high level of cholesterol and triglycerides, contain a combination of diisopropylamine-4-chlorophenoxy isobutyrate (Ie and dimethylmamino-ethanol-4-chlorphenoxy isobutyrate (II), pref. in 1.5:1 ratio. Pref. tablets and suppositories contain 0.15g. (I) and 0.1g (II) as unit dose, while ampulla contain 0.075g (I) and 0.05g (II) as unit dose. Salts are prepared by reacting the acids with the the amines in water or organic solvent or by double exchange reactions.
