titleOfInvention | Electrostatic reproduction process as well as device and recording medium for carrying out the process |
abstract | Electrophotographic image is produced on the back of copying sheet consisting of relatively insulating substrate and photoconductor layer. Toner is pref. applied by capsules contg. the pigment which are opened by pressure between a contact sheet and the back of the copying material. Process is suitable for production of multi-colour reproductions, such as maps. Lithographic printing matrix may be produced by exposing a medium comprising relatively insulating hydrophilic substrate and photoconductor layer, and developing substrate by application of oleophilic pigment on side opposite to photoconductor layer. |
