abstract The system generates steam with supercritical parameters in a continuous-flow steam-generator with fossil-fuel burners. The combustion chamber is followed by a convection chamber with convection and intermediate super-heating surfaces. A working medium flows through the tubes forming the gas-flue wall, and is directed through a steam-separator at the junction between the evaporation and super-heating sections. At a separation point (15), a working medium is extracted from the wall tubes (3) of the flue (2), and yields up part of its heat by indirect exchange to the medium from a steam turbine (19) and which is to be heated in an intermediate super-heating surface (8). It is then returned to the tubes at the separation point, keeping its temperature, plus any temperature rise necessary, at the outlet from the tubes below the permissible temperature of the wall-tube material.
