The endoscope consists of a cannula (1) running through the hollow part of which is a light guide (2) which extends up to the distal end. The light guide is fixed in a water tight guide seal (3) before passing into the hollow part of the cannula. A rinsing fluid is fed into the cannula and flows around the light guide. The rinsing fluid is fed into the side part of the hollow part of the cannula. The light guide is sealed by a compressible seal at its end which is held under compression by a screw cap (6). |
