abstract |
The nucleus either of an egg cell or of a spermatide is inactivated. The egg cell and the spermatide are fused together. The egg cell and spermatide are present in isolated form and the fusion cell cultivated. For obtaining a double haploid plant, the haploid plant obtained is subjected to duplicating treatment. The plant used is gramineae of the genus Zea. |
