abstract | The head structure of the passenger train has a surface curved about more than one axis. The head (1) includes cross frames (6) positioned along the car, which have stringers (5') between them on the outward-facing side, filled with insulating materials. There is a layer forming an external skin, which may have spacing elements, forming the external outline of the car. The stringers may be of hollow non-ferrous metal. The plates may serve as spacing elements. The stringers may be joined at their free apertures by tubular connecting elements (8). |
