titleOfInvention Device for multiplying light frequencies
abstract The light frequency multiplier has a grid structure with normal and inversion regions in alternation, with the direction of spontaneous polarisation inverted for the inversion regions relative to the normal regions. The grid structure has at least 2 relatively spaced grid sections (4), with a control section (7) between them, containing electrodes for application of an electrical field. Pref. the length of the grid sections and the control sections corresponds to a multiple of the grid period of the grid structure, with all corresponding electrodes in the control sections coupled together.
