titleOfInvention Method and device for keeping a medical instrument clean
abstract The inner space between the working or operating elements (SS,SH) remains in fluid communication with the medically pure liquid (G), or the casing (M) between is filled with the fluid. The fluid is a gas standing at a pressure above the atmospheric pressure, esp. carbon dioxide. The application of the gas results parallel to an expansion - gas insufflation with employment of the gas used or the expansion gas - insufflation results simultaneously by the medical instrument (1). The pressure of the gas used for acting on the instrument is controlled, depending on the inner pressure adjusted with the insufflation in the body of a patient or an insufflation pressure measured at the instrument side.
