A medicament contains one or more of the components (A)-(G), including at least one of (A)-(C). (A) is an analgesic chosen from acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol or ibuprofen, or cpds. contg. them. (B) is an antacid chosen from sodium bicarbonate or other basic sodium hydrogen salt; magnesium, calcium or aluminium oxide, carbonate, hydroxide or silicate; a basic sodium magnesium calcium and aluminium mixed salt; hydrotalcide; magaldrate; or alginate. (C) comprises trace elements/minerals and/or vitamin(s); (D) is citric or tartaric acid; (E) is caffeine (for medicaments to be taken during daytime); (F) is flavouring to improve the taste (such as orange); and (G) is conventional adjuvants. The formulation may be an effervescent tablet contg. (D), or other form such as a sugared pill, chewable tablet or a kit contg. the components in individual packaging. |
