abstract |
Depolymerisation of addn.-cured silicone rubber vulcanisate (I) comprises (1) diffusion of a soln. of acid in solvent into (I); (2) evaporating the solvent; and (3) heating (I) to at least 350 deg C. Pref. P-N chlorides with the approx. empirical formula PNCl2 are used, which can be obtd. by reacting PCl5 with NH3. Suitable solvents are (halo)hydrocarbons. |
