titleOfInvention | Polyalkylene terephthalate bags for packaging items and method for packaging the same |
abstract | Process is wrapping an object in a polyalkyleneterephthalate bag. One end of a polyalkyleneterephthalate film is glued together so as to form an open-ended bag, using two adhesive tapes, the outer tape consisting of a heat-curing polyethylene terephthalate film, and the inner tape a thermoplastic polyalkyleneterephthalate film adhesive. The object is then placed inside the bag, the bag evacuated under vacuum and the upper opening of the bag sealed. The bag may consist of heat-shrinkable film. The thermoplastic adhesive may be a polyamide. The heat-curable adhesive may be a polyester or polyurethane. Enables packages for "boiling-in-the-bag" to be produced. |
