abstract |
This is made by mixing (un)beaten pulp with alkaline earth metal hydroxide and adding water-soluble fixing agent(s) to cause strongly-adhering coating on surface of pulp with white pigment formed in situ. Pulp, pigment and paper all have high whiteness and opacity. This pulp can be processed on usual paper machines to paper of various grades. |
