abstract |
The nitrogen oxide-containing gases are oxidised with excess ozone on its mixtures with oxygen or air to form nitrogen pentoxide which is removed by aqueous absorption. Spec., after removing nitrogen pentoxide, the gas is passed through a catalyst which consists of various transition metal oxides on an alumosilicate carrier. |
