titleOfInvention | Purine ribonucleoside 3 'substituted in position 6: 5'-cyclophosphates and process for their preparation |
abstract | 6-Subst. purine riboside 3',5'-cyclophosphates. Cpds. of formula (I) (where R is H, OH or amino and X is halogen other than Cl, an ether group or -NR1R2 in which R2 is alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or aralkyl in which the aromatic groups are opt. substd. by halogen, alkyl and alkoxy and the alkyl groups by OH, and R1 is H or such a group, or NR1R2 is heterocyclyl opt. contg. a further hetero atom), which have effects on glycolysis, lipolysis and hormone metabolism, are prepd. by reacting a corr. cpd. in which X is OH with an acylating agent in the presence of a base, reacting the product with excess phosphorus oxyhalide and, if required, reacting the resulting (I; X=halogen) with an alcohol or amine or suitable derivative. |
