Strontium/nickel phosphates and pyrophosphates are prepared by mixing water soluble salts of strontium or strontium hydroxide, nickel salts and phosphoric acid in water at a pH of 5-9.5, when strontium hydroxide is not used the pH is adjusted using ammonia or a water soluble amine. The phosphates are used as dehydrogenation catalysts. |
