The nuclear nitro-groups of a polyurethane are reduced by Fe-metal plus aqueous organic acid (acetic) at pH 4.0 - 7.0 and 0 degree C - 150 degrees C, pref. 40 degrees C - 120 degrees C. Intensive stirring is used to mix the phases. |
