Additives are obtained by neutralising phosphorus acids and/or boron acids with triamine bases. The P-acids are R(X)nP(Y)n(XH)(XR1) where R=(halogenated) 6-22C alkyl, phenyl or alkylphenyl R1=R or H, X=S or O, Y=S, O or H and n=0 or 1. The B-acids are (R2O)2BOH where R2=H or 6-22C alkyl. The bases are R3(OCH2CH2CH2)nN(CHR4CH2OH)2 where R3=6-22C alkyl or alkenyl, R4=H, CH3 or C2H5 and n=0 or 1. |
