The upper surface of a semi-conductor body with zones of specified conductivity type covered with a thin, colourless film of silicone-polymer material (5-10 mu). Typically, that sold under the trade name of "1107 Fluid" is used applied as a soln and cured by heating to 120-150 degrees C. A ketone or alcohol may be used as solvent. |
