Process for crystallising crude, slightly alkaline, fungal proteases by passing the solution of crude protease through an acetic acid type anion exchange resin containing a tert. amine to remove impurities and adding a precipitant to the effluent to ppt. the protease and crystallising it from solution. Industrial scale process for pure fungal protease. Avoids dialysis, salting out, electrophoresis etc. |
