abstract |
Acryl chloride is prepd. from propylene by oxidising it catalytically with oxygen to acrolein, extracting the product with a fluorinated and/or chlorinated hydrocarbon, evaporating the solvent and subjecting the soln. to chlorination at 280-450 degrees C and finally separating the acryl chloride from the fluorinated and/or chlorinated hydrocarbon. |
